Future proofing the Capricorn brand
Capricorn approached BoldType with the goal of increasing new customer acquisition through their online presence and printed marketing material.
Working in close collaboration, we quickly identified a requirement to refresh their brand and visual identity, bringing it in line with their market and the products and services they sell.
Defining the Capricorn brand
Firstly, we modernised and simplified the Capricorn brand, bringing them up-to-date in a progressive and modernising market. We carried out an ideal customer workshop that ensured all future marketing, messaging and design was targeted at the right audience and communicated their products in an effective customer benefit-led way.
Based in the Jewellery Quarter, we commissioned photography that captured Capricorns' personality and craftsmanship enabling the designs to authentically portray their craftsmanship and quality.
The new Capricorn website now enables visitors to not only see the products and services more clearly but also understand and appreciate the care and attention to detail that goes into manufacturing them. Most importantly, through carefully crafted messaging and call-to-actions, engagement, and. most importantly sales have increased significantly.
Embracing the ink drop
The new brand, incorporating an iconic ink drop, was applied to all marketing materials, enhancing the look and feel of the website, in particular, harnessing familiar elements that increase engagement and brand recognition.
